I took myself off for a drive while I tried to decide if the weather would hold enough to make it worthwhile for me to stay the night.

This is where I've decided to set up camp.  

Yes, I DO remember how to set up a tent. LOL 

My new tent and camp chair. $20 for the tent and $6 for the chair - AND it has a cupholder! ;-) The campsite had prepared tent beds, framed in with concrete and filled with sand and small gravel. MUCH better than tree roots! Also flush toilets and a hot water shower, all for $10/night!

Name of the game - improvise! What do you do when you have no camp cookware? Tin baking pans, 3/$1. Just be careful, cause they bend. One small box of instant rice, and a can opener and you have several meal options! 

Going for a walk on the Oswald Dome Trail. I never did make it to the dome. huff huff, puff puff, GOTTA get in shape! My goal is to be able to make it by this time next year.
