I took myself off for a drive while I tried to decide if the weather would hold enough to make it worthwhile for me to stay the night.  Posted by Hello

This is where I've decided to set up camp.  Posted by Hello
Yes, I DO remember how to set up a tent. LOL Posted by Hello
My new tent and camp chair. $20 for the tent and $6 for the chair - AND it has a cupholder! ;-) The campsite had prepared tent beds, framed in with concrete and filled with sand and small gravel. MUCH better than tree roots! Also flush toilets and a hot water shower, all for $10/night! Posted by Hello

Impressive view, despite the hazy day. Posted by Hello
Name of the game - improvise! What do you do when you have no camp cookware? Tin baking pans, 3/$1. Just be careful, cause they bend. One small box of instant rice, and a can opener and you have several meal options! Posted by Hello
Going for a walk on the Oswald Dome Trail. I never did make it to the dome. huff huff, puff puff, GOTTA get in shape! My goal is to be able to make it by this time next year.  Posted by Hello
